Designing the End-to-End Meta Horizon+ Perks Experience
Overview
Meta Horizon+ perks are integrated benefits that add recurring value to the subscription experience. I led the content design strategy for the end-to-end perks flow, ensuring subscribers could discover, understand, and redeem benefits with confidence, while reinforcing ongoing value over time.
The Problem
As perks expanded, the experience became fragmented across surfaces. Users often encountered benefits without clearly understanding that they were included, how to redeem them, or why they mattered beyond a single moment.
My Role
I owned the end-to-end content strategy for perks, partnering closely with product design, product management, and engineering. My responsibility was to define a cohesive flow that could scale as new benefits were added.
The End-to-End Flow
1. Discovery
Designed clear entry points and consistent terminology to surface perks as included subscription benefits, not promotions or discounts.
2. Understanding
Created concise, plain-language descriptions that clarified what each perk offered, how eligibility worked, and what to expect, reducing cognitive load at the moment of decision.
3. Redemption
Defined action language and patterns that made redemption feel obvious and low-friction, with clear expectations across different perk types.
4. Reinforcement
Helped position perks as ongoing value by supporting language and patterns that reinforced recurrence and evolution over time.
