Meta Horizon+: Quest VR / Oculus
I was the principle content designer on Meta Horizon+, a subscription program for Meta Quest VR (aka “Oculus”). I designed much of the foundation that was critical to the growth of Meta Horizon+, skyrocketing it from 250k to 1.5million subscribers in just two years. These include 0-1 products like the monthly perks program, the indie catalog, a hardware/software bundle, and a Meta Quest financing plan.
Exclusive perks for subscribers
Meta Horizon+ perks are monthly extras subscribers can claim that add recurring value to the subscription experience. I led the content strategy for perks, establishing the taxonomy, end-to-end user flows, and UI patterns that made the program understandable, discoverable, and scalable.
the indie catalog
The Indie Catalog was built to give standout, hidden-gem games a clearer path to discovery through curation and editorial framing. I shaped the program’s narrative, taxonomy, developer signup experience, consumer-facing redemption flows and creative marketing spotlight campaigns.
Meta Quest content bundle
I led content design for a Meta Quest headset bundle that paired a flagship Batman game with 3 months of Meta Horizon+. I defined the bundle’s value propositions and end-to-end UX across purchase and onboarding flows.
meta quest financing plan
Play now, pay later simplified Meta Quest financing into a single monthly price that unlocked instant play. I led naming, value framing, and product messaging across the experience.
